2006 The name Toronto City Roots Festival was born in 2006, and has remained ever since. The June 23rd through 25th weekend festival was now entirely free to attend. One of the highlights of the event was the reuniting of the original Toronto cast of HAIR - some twenty-six years after they starred in the hit play.
