City Roots is Music Pure and Simple

 June 23 - 25, 2006
Thanks to the more than 8,000 attendees, artists, and volunteers
that made 2006 City Roots Festival the most successful .

I  just wanted to congratulate you and your team on a fantastic festival this past weekend! I spent Friday evening and most of the day on Saturday taking in the wonderful music at Toronto City Roots. I've been going to the festival since it began three years ago and it was really nice that this year's performances were completely free to the public. What a treat! From Angie Nussey's honest and casual, yet deeply passionate set on Friday night to Layah Jane's early afternoon vocals soaring on Saturday, to Aengus Finnan's captivating stories under the hot sun. A big success! I hope you're all very proud.
