City Roots is Music Pure and Simple

June 22-24, 2007 Toronto City Roots Festival

City Roots 2007 was an outstanding success!

Riverboat Revival on Friday June 22 played to a full house at Hugh's Room.

The  Free Festival at the Distillery District on June 23 and 24  attracted 8,000 people under beautiful skies.  A good time was had by all.

Thanks to the artists, volunteers, sponsors, attendees, and those individuals who supported City Roots by donating and becoming members!

"a truly enjoyable weekend of wonderful music, fun, and great vibes all around "
 -  Andy Frank, CIUT-FM

"a lovely festival weekend. It was a joy."
- Arlene Bishop

"We had a great time, met some great people and saw some great performers ...  a Roots Music heaven"  - Bill Colgate

"Thanks so much for a great time at the Roots Festival.  We loved playing it.  Our showcase and the workshop was great "
 - Andrew Collins, Sunparlour Players

"Thanks and congratulations on a well-planned, well executed festival. From my end, it ran like clockwork, and the music  had class, distinction and merit. I had a great weekend, and the Riverboat Revival was quite a coup. It was a pleasure to be part of Toronto City Roots".
- Greg Quill
