2008 again celebrated the rich history of the Riverboat Café, the landmark venue that helped launch the careers of Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot and dozens of other Canadian roots music pioneers.

The free weekend festival that followed at the Distillery Historic District showcased today's established and emerging talent on four stages. Highlights included Donné Roberts Band, Danny Marks' Blues Revue,The Foggy Hogtown Boys, Creaking Tree String Quartet, Sultans of String, and The Undesirables.
